[Mn-Rural-Summit] Reminder:Rural Summit planning mtg Feb 28

Dear Rural Summit planners:

Just in case you missed the first reminder, we wanted to send another reminder that our next Summit planning meeting is set for Feb 28 at Morris, at the University of Minnesota-Morris, site of the combined Rural Symposium-Rural Summit for 2006. We have created a planning blog which can help you stay up-to-date on planning notes, thoughts, etc. You can also download a copy of the Save the Date card so you can help us get the word out. Please send it far and wide. We would love to have lots of people descend on Morris in early June! Registration costs will be at an all-time low. Stay tuned on that one!.....

More details will follow but the general plan is to arrive at 11 a.m. on Feb 28 so we can take a tour of the campus, have lunch and convene for a general meeting with the Rural Symposium planning committee from 2:00-4:00 p.m..

Please RSVP back to Jane so we can get an accurate count for lunch. And, many people have mentioned an interest in carpooling to Morris. If you are interested, please send me an email indicating that you:

1. will attend on Feb 28
a. will attend but need a ride
b. will attend and can drive and give others a ride (let us know your starting point and how many you can fit into your buggy)

2. can't attend on Feb 28 but keep me posted

3. stop bugging me and take me off the Summit planning list.....
