The next meeting is set for the tail end of the Small Town Symposium in Morris -- on Wednesday, June 8 from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the LaFave House on College Ave 1/2 block from the UMM main entrance. We'll soon post directions up on the Summit planning website at http://www.minnesotaruralpartners.org/2005_summit/planning/ . David Fluegel says this is a beautifully renovated home that was donated to UMM. So block that time out and come to Morris. By the way - if you want to come to the Small Town Symposium, June 6-8, registration is now open at: http://www.centerforsmalltowns.org/symposium We're at a Summit planning stage where several folks are pursuing parts of the whole thing, including: - Denise: Connections Stations confirms and exhibitors --- please spread the word about exhibit booth availability - John H.: Storytelling Contest details - Jane: Sponsorships - Amy F: lining up recreational and other interesting extracurricular activities - Anita: lining up volunteers for registration and directional aides, etc. Ann Treacy and Denise Pfeifer have been doing a great job getting the registration site up and running.
