Our next planning meeting is this week -- WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Stevens Ave Building offices of the Institute for Agriculture & Trade Policy in Minneapolis (www.iatp.org). Please let me know if you will be coming so we can get a lunch count. The subcommittee on the Summit opening general session met by phone last Friday and we have some good ideas on how the session will flow and possible speakers, along with tie-ins to the rest of the Summit. FUTURE PLANNING MTGS - Mark Your Calendars....... --APRIL 20 - Confirmed on Weds, April 20 from 10:30 to 1:30 -- in Little Falls at the Initiative Foundation. --MAY 18 - Anyone wanting to host for May? If so, let me know and we have it all covered before July's Summit! --JUNE 8 - David Fluegel has confirmed that we can hold our June mtg at the tail end of the Small Town Symposium in Morris -- on Wednesday, June 8 from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the LaFave House on College Ave 1/2 block from the UMM main entrance. David says this is a beautifully renovated home that was donated to UMM.
