Hi all:

We are still on for the Jan 19 planning mtg for the 2005 Rural Summit, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank at 90 Hennepin Ave (right where Hennepin crosses the Mississippi River, on the downtown side -- near First Street North).

We need to create a list of attendees for the security desk.  You cannot be admitted without being on the list. Here are the people who have let me know they are planning on attending, so they are on the list. PLEASE NOTE: If you are intending on coming for all or part of the meeting on Wednesday and are not on the security list below, please email me and send a copy of your email to Jacqueline Nicholas at jacqueline.nicholas at mpls.frb.org no later than noon on Jan 18 (Tuesday). Jacqueline needs the list both for security and for lunch count.  If you are coming, please bring a photo ID.

Driving directions & Parking info:

For parking, there are surface lots near the building and meters.  Bring quarters and dollar bills to stuff in meters and parking boxes.  We will try to get more specific info to those of you coming on Wednesday. 

>From the North
Via I94 West
>From westbound I94 take the downtown 4th Street exit. Proceed two blocks on 4th Street to Hennepin Avenue and turn left, then travel four blocks on Hennepin and turn left onto 1st Street North. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right. 
Via I35 South
Take the Washington Avenue exit off I35. Turn right on Washington Avenue and drive to Hennepin Avenue. Turn right on Hennepin and proceed two blocks to 1st Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right. 

>From the East
Drive I94 West to the 5th Street exit and proceed to Park Avenue. Turn right on Park Avenue for three blocks to Washington Avenue, then left on Washington Avenue for six blocks to Hennepin Avenue. Turn right onto Hennepin Avenue and go two blocks to 1st Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right. 
>From the South
Drive I35 North and take the 5th Avenue exit. Travel 5th Avenue and take a left onto Washington Avenue. Follow Washington for five blocks to Hennepin Avenue and take a right, go two blocks to 1st Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right. 
>From the West
Drive I394 and take the Washington/3rd Avenue exit. Cross Washington Avenue and continue east to 1st Street North. Turn right. The Minneapolis Fed is on the left.
