The Minnesota House of Representatives Capital Investment Committee
<http://ww3.house.leg.state.mn.us/comm/committeemembers.asp?comm=3> has
forwarded a $684 million bonding proposal, but failed to include a
single dollar for supportive housing. The Governor recommended $20
million for permanent, supportive housing as part of a plan to end
long-term homelessness in Minnesota, and HousingMinnesota has supported
and endorsed this effort. Our full fact sheet is available here
<http://www.housingminnesota.org/downloads/2004BondingFactSheet.pdf> .

By failing to recommend any funding for this initiative, the Capital
Investment Committee is setting a course to undermine the plan to end
long-term homelessness in Minnesota. We need you to contact your
Representative and urge the full $20 million dollars be added back to
the final bill.
