This = comprehensive fundraising training has become known as the premier fundraising course = for the Twin Cities' nonprofit community. Taught by experts from the Association = of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the course includes individual and = small-group coaching. This means you will have the opportunity to develop a plan = tailored to your organization's needs and learn the strategies to make it work. = Register by July 31, 2003 and pay only $450 for the entire course. That's $45 off the $495 = fee! The cost includes instruction, fundraising materials and resources, and = light refreshments.

This two-hour, interactive workshop is held monthly at MAP. Topics covered include: benefits of volunteer consulting with = nonprofit organizations, similarities and differences in for-profit and nonprofit organizations, the MAP consulting process, roles and expectations of = volunteer consultants, and resources available through MAP. This training is free and only open to MAP consultants.

Offered monthly at MAP, this two-hour, interactive session = covers the legal duties of board members as well as basic board roles and responsibilities.

 

 

 

NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT = EXCELLENCE AWARD

MAP and the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits are seeking = nominations and applications for a new award for nonprofit management excellence, = sponsored by Marquette Financial Companies. The award will be presented at the = Minnesota Council of Nonprofits' 2003 Nonprofit Mission Awards Presentation on October 1 = in St. Paul.
