The Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP), an AmeriCorps program,
is now recruiting for the upcoming service year. We currently have 25
positions open in 15 non-profit agencies located throughout the Twin Cities
(MN).

CTEP place both full and part-time (paid) AmeriCorps members in community
service projects. Most placements support technology literacy and access
programs; programs that help new technology users improve basic or
intermediary technology skills. Members also help agencies design and
implement new programs to better serve low income and new immigrant youth
and adults.

If you, your constituents, volunteers, friends, or family members are
interested in providing a year of service to your community, this is a great
project; CTEP AmeriCorps members do NOT need any special technology skills
to join! You must be 17 years of age and a permanent US resident to serve.

AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance ($11,100 annually),
paid health insurance and child care, training, and members that complete
their service year receive an additional educational award ($4725.00 for
full-time members, pro-rated for part time). Members are also offered
professional development and leadership opportunities during their service
year.

For information about these new AmeriCorps positions, visit
http://www.technologypower.org, or email info at technologypower.org, or call
CTEP staff at 651-556-1384.

Our project year begins Sept.1, 2007 and runs through August 31, 2008.
Interested applicants should contact us TODAY to secure the best placements.
