The Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP), an AmeriCorps program,
is recruiting for the 06-07 service year. We currently have 25 positions
open in 15 non-profit agencies located throughout the Twin Cities (MN).

CTEP place both full and part-time (paid) AmeriCorps members in
technology-focused community service projects. Most placements support
technology literacy and access programs; programs that help new technology
users improve basic or intermediary technology skills. Members also help
agencies design and implement new programs to better serve low income and
new immigrant residents.

If you, or any of your constituents, volunteers, or family members are
interested in providing a year of service to your community, this is a great
project; CTEP AmeriCorps members do NOT need any special technology skills
to join!

AmeriCorps members receive a basic living allowance (approx. $800/mo),
including paid health insurance and child care, and members that complete
their service year receive an educational award ($4725.00 for full-time
members, pro-rated for part time). Members are also offered professional
development and leadership opportunities during their service year.
