Hi Everyone:

I wanted to take a moment to let you know about the FVPF's upcoming Founding
Father's Campaign. We launched this campaign last year to help publicly
engage men and boys in the issue of ending violence against women and
children. Last year, it was primarily a fundraising and mobilization
campaign where we asked men to donate $1000 to the FVPF to become "Founding
Father's" and join the movement.

Since our 2003 efforts, we've had a number of individuals and organizations
ask us how they could get involved with the campaign. In addition, we
wanted to expand the campaign in order to reach people who could not donate
$1000 but who did want to get involved. So this year we are taking the
campaign on-line and asking men and women to join the movement and sign up
or honor a man they know for as little as $10.00. In addition, we're working
with local organizations all around the country who will be collaborating
with us and creating "team pages" on our website www.founding-fathers.org
<http://www.founding-fathers.org/> (to be launched April 1st, 2004) in
order to engage their local community with their work. In addition, those
local organizations working with us will get back 50% of any of the money
raised on their team pages to help support the good work they are already
doing.

I wanted to be sure to invite you and your facility/organization to consider
participating this year. If you would like more information and might want
to consider participating, please contact Jenn Smith in our office at
jenn at endabuse.org <mailto:jenn at endabuse.org> or 415-252-8900 ext. 24. Just
let her know that I sent you this e-mail and you are following up.
